Family is an essential part of Maitland Farm and its curriculum!​ We have an open door policy and parents are welcomed at any time into the classroom as volunteers. Additionally, there are numerous other schoolwide events and special activities in which family members can also be involved such as our annual Hat Parade, Reading Week or our Focus Days.

 

Each classroom consists of one "room parent" to assist the teacher in coordinating activities for that classroom for the year on an as-needed basis. Additionally, the Parent Communication Committee (PCC), a volunteer parent organization, helps with fundraising, educational programs and events for the school.
